Anna Tarlton

Welcome to the Kappa Alpha Chapter of Alpha Phi at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill! My name is Anna Tarlton, and I am honored to be serving as our Chapter President. Alpha Phi has been such an integral part of my experience at UNC, and I don’t know where I would be without the friends and memories I have made because of it. When I joined Alpha Phi, I immediately had a welcoming group of girls providing support, encouragement, advice, and so much more. I immediately found that sense of belonging every girl going through recruitment is striving to find. There truly are so many different inspiring women in our chapter, all with different passions, backgrounds, personalities, and experiences.

Living in the house strengthened and fostered so many of my friendships, and it has been such a blessing to get to call Alpha Phi my home. Alpha Phi has given me so many opportunities not only in friendship but also in serving the community through our Philanthropy and pursuing leadership roles that I am passionate about. Serving in leadership roles in Alpha Phi has been such a rewarding experience because of how much love and support I find in

my sisters. Here at Alpha Phi, you will always have the friendship, guidance, and encouragement of your sisters as well as alumnae and advisors. We share a commitment to excellence, and a strong drive to serve each other and our community.

The sisterhood that you choose to be a part of will truly make your years here at Carolina, and provide you with long-lasting friendships and unforgettable memories that you will cherish and take with you. It is a support system like no other and one that I will forever be grateful for. This sisterhood has truly given me so much, and I will forever value and cherish the memories and experiences I have had in Alpha Phi. These women and this chapter are my home and have made me into the friend and leader I am today, and I am so honored to lead them.
